Community Support & Events
Lederman Kwartowitz Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is committed to the communities within Oakland, Wayne, and Macomb Counties and those who reside in the surrounding areas. We support our communities through affiliations, sponsorships, volunteering, and participation in health expos and fairs.
Lederman Kwartowitz Orthopedics is a proud member of the Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and the West Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce.

Camp Mak-A-Dream
Our staff participates in activities such as power walking, yoga, and boot camp, where all proceeds help to benefit the Camp Mak-A-Dream.
The Empowerment Plan
This organization is near and dear to the Kwartowitz family. Homeless women are hired to make sleeping bags and coats to give to those in need. This organization creates jobs and solutions.
Arthritis Foundation
Each December, our enthusiastic runners brave the cold and join up with the Bio-Med Team to help benefit the Arthritis Foundation at the Jingle Bell Run in Detroit.
Children’s Tumor Foundation
Dr. Lederman and his wife, Debbie, attend the superhero-themed Children’s Tumor Foundation benefit that raises money to conquer neurofibromatosis.
Detroit Barks Back
Our pet lovers sponsor the Detroit Barks Back event, which raises money for dogs in cities with pet overpopulation problems.
Forgotten Harvest
We start off the giving season by volunteering at Forgotten Harvest, providing food for those in need. We help feed over 1,000 people!
