Welcome Dr. Michael Fleischman!

We would like to give a warm welcome to our newest orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Michael Fleischman.  Dr. Fleischman is thrilled to be part of the LKO team and is now seeing patients in both our West Bloomfield and Troy locations.

Dr. Fleischman is fellowship trained in hip and knee joint replacement and also specializes in sports medicine and fracture care for the past 15 years.  This combined training and experience makes Dr. Fleischman an expert in the most cutting edge muscle sparing, minimally invasive and fastest recovery procedures in orthopedics today.

He was one of the first surgeons in the country to utilize robotics in joint replacement and has performed thousands of robotic procedures.  Due to his expertise in rapid recovery and outpatient joint replacement surgery he has been sought out to develop these programs in hospitals around the country, including here in Michigan.  Although Dr. Fleischman utilizes these surgical techniques with the upmost care and safety, it is his exceptional bedside manner and numerous non surgical treatment options that patients say make them feel the most comfortable under his care.

Dr. Fleischman grew up in Arizona, and did his orthopedic surgery training in Michigan where he met his amazing wife, Rachael.  Their three young children, Alaina, Jameson, and Jacob keep them busy and smiling.  Due to his roots in Arizona, he is a huge Arizona Wildcat fan, so he says both Wolverine and Sparty fans are welcome into his office.  We are excited to have him as part of our team!
